When you place an order, we collect:
We don't collect your payment card details. Those go directly to Square and never touch our servers.
We use your information only to process and manage your cake order. This includes confirming your booking, letting you know when your cake is ready, and keeping a record of completed orders.
We don't use your details for marketing, and we don't sell or share them with anyone outside of what's needed to fulfil your order (Square for payment, Twilio for SMS).
Payments are processed securely by Square. Your card details are entered directly into Square's encrypted payment form — we never see or store your card number, expiry date, or CVV.
After a successful payment, we receive a payment reference number only.
By providing your mobile number, you agree to receive SMS messages about your order. These include:
We don't send marketing messages. All SMS is sent via Twilio, a registered messaging provider.
Your order information is stored in Supabase, a cloud database service. Data may be held on servers located outside Australia, but Supabase maintains industry-standard security practices including encryption at rest and in transit.
Access to your data is restricted to the café owner and authorised staff. No customer data is publicly accessible.
We keep order records for up to 7 years for accounting and business purposes, as required under Australian law. If you'd like your information removed sooner, please get in touch — see below.
You can ask us to delete your personal information at any time. Contact us using the details below and we'll remove your data from our records promptly, unless we're required to keep it for a legal reason such as an unresolved payment dispute.
